Senior IT Business Analyst Controlling

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst!

For our client, Aryzta- a leading company in the food industry with a strong presence across the EMEA region, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in Controlling (CO) processes and deep knowledge of SAP ERP.

The role will act as a bridge between Controlling teams and IT, ensuring that business requirements are translated into effective and standardized IT solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in process optimization, system enhancements, and supporting strategic initiatives across the organization.

Additionally, this position assumes a pivotal role in Aryzta’s global S/4HANA Cloud transformation initiative, providing expert technical guidance in Controlling (CO) and supporting both internal and external project teams. This position is offered on a full-time, permanent basis with the possibility of remote work options.

Business Analysis & Process Design

• Analyze and document Controlling processes (Cost Center Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Costing standards).

• Identify and deliver opportunities for process improvements and automation together with our Service Business Center.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, validate, prioritize business requirements and drive standardization and simplification.

Project & Change Management

• Lead or support Controlling IT projects, including upgrades, rollouts, and enhancements.

• Manage Project portfolio for the domain

• Prepare functional specifications for development and work closely with technical teams.

• Manage UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and training for end-users.

Reporting & Analytics

• Support financial reporting and controlling dashboards design with our Data Platform team

• Ensure data integrity, security and consistency across controlling reports.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary liaison between Finance/Controlling and IT teams.

• Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear, business-friendly manner.

• Manage third partner vendors maintenance and project services in close partnership with Group Procurement

Technical Skills:

• SAP Expertise:Proven subject matter expert in SAP Controlling modules (CO, COPA/Margin Analysis, CCA, PCA) across SAP Public Cloud, S/4HANA Private Cloud, and SAP ECC environments. Knowledge of the capabilities and design of standard SAP reporting tools within S/4HANA, including Embedded Analytics and CDS Views.

• Financial & Controlling Processes: Deep understanding of corporate and group-level financial and controlling processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

• Configuration & Testing: Skilled in configuring and testing SAP CO functionalities to meet evolving business requirements.

• Integration: Strong experience in integrating SAP CO with other core modules (FI, MM, PP-PI, SD) for seamless end-to-end processes.

• Data Management: In-depth knowledge of SAP Controlling data models and hands-on experience with Data Lake integration for advanced analytics.

• Application Ownership: Act as Technical Application Owner, collaborating with Application Maintenance and Software Partners to ensure system stability, performance, and optimization.

• Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to IT governance, architecture standards, and security policies in the role of Application Owner.

• Process & Data Design: Experienced in designing integrated processes and data flows, focusing on user adoption, process harmonization, and data quality.

• Lifecycle Management: Strong understanding of application lifecycle management, maintenance best practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Professional Experience: Minimum 7 years as a Business Analyst, with at least 5 years specializing in Controlling processes.

• Certifications: ITIL Certified, demonstrating expertise in IT service management and process optimization. C_TS4CO, S4CCO or similar SAP certifications are beneficial.

• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ServiceNow and Snowflake considered as assets.
