As a Ukrainian–English interpreter, you will assist individuals who encounter language barriers when interacting with essential public services, including healthcare providers and emergency services.
Your role involves ensuring clear, accurate, and respectful communication, often in situations that require empathy and poise. By facilitating understanding in critical moments, you will enable people to access the support and assistance they need.
Your responsibilities:

Providing consecutive interpretation between Ukrainian and English for Ukrainian‑speaking individuals residing in the US or the UK who cannot communicate in English.

Managing voice and video calls with various public institutions, including:

medical facilities,
-
police stations,
-
emergency services (911).

Ensuring clear, accurate, and professional communication among all parties.

Responding with empathy and composure, particularly in sensitive or emergency situations.
Our requirements:

Excellent command of Ukrainian and English (both languages are required).

Strong listening, retention, and note‑taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy.

The ability to empathize with callers while staying professional.
-
High stress resilience, especially when dealing with distressed or incoherent speakers during emergency calls.

A stable wired internet connection and a quiet workspace.
-
Availability to work at least 6 hours each day.

Learning time (training) PLN 31,40 gross/h.

Work before midnight PLN 34,00 gross/h.

Weekends PLN 36,00 gross/h.
